Casinos can now adjust RTP settings on NetEnt games

NetEnt have for some years now been the most popular game provider with games like Starburst, Twin Spin, Gonzo’s Quest and Secret of the Stones. March this year they have done some changes to the RTP (Return To Player). They have now made the RTP adjustable with variations usually from 90-99%.

This means the operator can change the RTP of the game. (Like has been available with Play’n’Go games for some time now).

This is the original game sheet for Twin Spin where RTP is set to 96.6% for all casinos.

This is the new gamesheet for Twin Spin with date 26.March this year where
adjustable RTP is shown: 90.05%, 92.05%, 93.05%, 94.05%, 95.05%, 96.09%, 98.05%, 99.06% .

Why did NetEnt add adjustable RTP settings?
We think its not a wise desicion to add adjustable RTP settings. NetEnt may think it will make them earn more money as most of the new RTP settings are lower then before but it will cause confusion for the players. The players will most likely feel that they are getting cheated by the casino and by NetEnt so they will stop playing their games.

We checked four casinos and they all had different RTP settings on Twin Spin;
1XBet (CURACAO) 93.09%
Videoslots (MALTA) 94.05%
Playamo (MALTA) 96.56%
Storspiller.com (MALTA) 98.00%
